Fundraising Case Statement
Hendricks County Historical Museum
In my Museum Administration course, we learned the art of writing a case statement and created a mock statement for our community partner, Hendricks County Historical Museum. This assignment also tied into my experience with the development team at the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites.
Archival Grant
After working with the Rocky River Historical Society during my AmeriCorps service, I reconnected with the volunteers during graduate school and wrote a grant application for them for the Ohio Historical Records and Advisory Board regrant program. After winning the grant, I have helped the organization complete the project and submit necessary reporting paperwork.

Senior Independent Study

Over the course of my senior year of college, I conducted a year long research project. My Independent Study has two parts: a fifteen minute documentary film that includes interviews with local history professionals and volunteers, and a written thesis that posits solutions for increasing the long-term sustainability of these organizations.
